Blending rustic and modern
I reallylike this look with the natural stone tile and knotty wood flooring combined with the modern furniture, stainless steel and white cabinets. This is the one I showed you on Skype. The grey walls are too dark, but I like the flooring with the cabinets and the chandelier (which I'm sure would be an upgrade!)

I think all these elements work well together. I'd like you to strongly consider 1 ft square tiles for the floor. That will greatly reduce the labor to install them. Whats up with the chandeliers....? One may work over the bar because we will have an arched ceiling in this part of the house. I've looked at some very colorful modern art style hand blown glass fixtures I'd like you to also consider.
